Animating the Era...

Whether Akki gives a voice over for Jumbo. Or Hanuman and Krishna grasping the Big Screen. Zoozoos squeaking all over those TV commercials. Certainly yes, the Animation world has caught the world at large. And India is no far behind..Hadippaa!!!!!

Real life characters are an old story now. And thus those people in flesh and blood seems to fail in their popularity nowadays.Boo hoo!!! It is the animation industry has created a helluva impact on the entertainment genre and got the attention at large. Projects are getting piled up in this sector ; the demand is full on!!!!

Movies to advertisements ; campaigning to publicity stunts ~ the world of animation has traveled far and wide. What underlines the success mantra ? Well, animation gives a lot of possibilities and thus opens up avenues to experiment which real life may fail to do; helps the audience to identify the real life scenarios with a certain twist in tale thus making it out of the box.
The animals around us : the dogs or cats , the mice or squirrel, the fishes or birds are projected to tell a tale which we human beings can characterize with. And the funny tweaks add up to the charm of these stuffs. The animated characters composed with the beautiful scripts have made us fall in love with Kung Fu Panda or Stuart Little or Wall-E time and again. They have etched a certain place in the core of our heart , as if they are our very own. Virtual, yet so real. The well thought concepts behind these works have made animation a genre to crave for.
As European or American countries advanced in this world of animation, so has India joined the bandwagon thus evolving out as a fine player. Ancient myths and fables are being revisited through the animation world and has caught the nation at large.
The renowned production houses from Bollywood or regional sectors are investing their monetary funds for the proliferation of animation in our country; quite a number of animated movies land up on Friday mornings for the kids and their parents.

As talked earlier , the animation industry has crossed the barriers and has patched up with advertisement world. Such is the impact that animated model is fast replacing the celebrities from brand endorsement circuit. And without any doubts , Zoozoo (the egg shaped blown up characters used by Vodafone) receive special kudos for the popularity of animation in advertisements. These zoozoos became an overnight sensation with their silly ,or witty acts and people across ages loved them. And how could one forget the Mentos ad featuring Gaddu (the donkey ) and monkey turned Modern man : concept so noble yet damn sarcastic in presentation!!!!
Brands of fizzy drinks to air fresheners , websites to mobile communications are banking upon animation based advertising to come the clutter of celebrity over skill, making cost effective ads and in some cases, rejuvenate brands. But it is still quite expensive and make the technicians sit in the studios for long to achieve perfection sprinkled with the freshness and surprise packaging.

It is basically understood human beings love to play with their imaginations. The Brain supplies a lot of thought processes that Man craves to explore ; to create a sort of a world that he thinks in the midst of real world. The actual possibility is always nullified. And thus creeps in a virtual world that grows and prospers. It is this virtual world that comprises of the animated characters : a bit inspired from a man’s real life scenario and remaining ones proceeding from the abstract thoughts that plays around. No two words to this opinion stands ~ as long as these thought processes are on, the visuals will continue to flow out. And with new minds joining the thinking mill, innovative ideas would gradually come to the forefront thus making the world of Animation an ever green and ever cherishing field to cultivate on.
